TRIP TO MANALI

HI..This is Rashel . I have been married for 5 years and a mother of a child ..here i wanna share some of my special days of life.After my college days i came to delhi with some of my friends.By the grace of God i got a job.It was my friend's birthday we decided to make a trip to manali .Kullu and Manali are Himachal's most popular tourist valley , located on the bank of Beas river. It is known as "Valley of God's". We all were 7.We went there by volvo n reached in the morning . There we stayed in hotel Sangam .It was an awesome view n weather was really pleasant.We took two rooms,1 for boys another for girls.It was a nice hotel . Due to awesome weather we couldn't stop ourselves and get ready very soon for outing .

PLACES TO VISIT IN KULLU - MANALI

VIEWS OF KULLU
1)Raison - Not far away is the camping site at Raison on the grassy banks of river.
2)Katrain - Katrain is situated at the widest part of Kullu valley . There is excellent fishing here .
3)Naggar - On the opposite bank of the Beas , across a bridge at Patil kuhl , the road climbs sharply through groves of dark green deodar to the little town of Naggar , high above the valley .The old castle of Naggar once a capital of Kullu .
4)Bijli Mahadev - The interesting Bijli Mahadev Temple is close to kullu .
5)S- High up under the snowy peaks, of the Parvati valley are the hot springs at Manikaran .

1)Hadimba Temple - A pretty path leads to the Hadimba Temple standing tall among the stately deodars.The ancient temple is built like a pagoda .
2)Vashisht Springs - One of Manali's main attraction , it is a place to luxuriate in Himachal Tourism baths where the water of hot sulphur springs renowed for their medicinal qualities has been piped into baths including private deluxe ones .
3)Jagatsukh - At Jagatsukh, in the midst of a pisturesque village, are old temple . Jagatsukh was also once the capital of Kullu .
4)Arjun Gufa -Legend has it , that it was here that Arjun practised austerities to get the Pashupata Astra , the sacred weapon from lord Indra .
5)Nehru Kund - A spring of cold clear water is along the road to the Rohtang pass .
6)Solang Valley - Enroute to Kothi , close to the Rohtang pass is the beautiful Solang Valley . There are marvellous views of snow-capped peaks and glaciers. Excellent ski slopes and a good ski lift make it a popular resort .
7)Kothi - Located at the foot of the Pohtang Pass, Kothi is a picturesque spot .
8)Rahalla Falls- This splendid cascadeis about 4k.m/2.5 miles from Kothi.
9)Rohatang pass - Situated at the altitude of 3980 m the pass is open just for 4 months ,from june to october . This is one of the best place to visit .
10)Club house - The club house includes a roller skating ring.an auditorium , a billiards room, a library,a bar and a restaurant make a wonderful outing for a day .
